This place is great! Huge cocktail list. I've been here for brunch, for late night drinks, and even for a solo lunch date at the bar. It's gorgeous inside- sexy and hip with a modern take on 1920s. All cocktails are great and food is delicious

I absolutely loved this place! It's such a nice bar with amazing vibes, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The atmosphere is inviting and lively, making it a great spot to unwind. One of the highlights for me was their impressive selection of non-alcoholic/mocktail options under the "Zero Valerie" section of the menu. I tried the Gin Free G&T, and it was fantastic - so refreshing and flavorful. If you're into non-alcoholic drinks, this is a must-try. For dessert, I had the mango vegan sorbet, and it was delicious. The sorbet was bursting with fresh mango flavor and had a lovely, smooth texture. It was the perfect way to end my visit. The bartender was incredibly sweet and nice, adding a personal touch to the experience. Her friendly and attentive service made the evening even more enjoyable. I can't wait to go back!

I found this place looking on Yelp. It had great reviews and pictures so I figured I'd be the judge myself. The hostesses were very welcoming and sat me in the second floor, I opted for the bar. Colten was the bartender there who was so awesome! He made the best drinks, I tried the Blooming & Forbidden from the special cocktails list. They were both so delicious and packed with flavor, I love the touch of fresh herbs. They we so refreshing. I also tried the oysters, shipped fresh from Virginia. They were mildly brined with a semi sweet taste, delicious! I wasn't sure what to order and Colten recommended the Chicken with forbidden rice, this plate was so amazing! What flavor it has! Cooked to perfection. I was definitely steered in the right direction. If this is a taste of what their dishes taste like, I will definitely be back! The ambiance is dimly lit and a whole vibe! Check this place out!

The restaurant has a clean, sophisticated feel. The service is friendly & efficient. I highly recommend the cocktails - specifically the Summer Love. The avocado hummus was unique & excellent!! We all enjoyed our entrees & it would not have been complete without the dessert.

Valerie was incredible!! Our group ended up here after our reservation at their sister bar Madame George, got cancelled due to a private party. NYC, full of private events (eye roll). Bartender and drinks were exceptional - we even got a bottle of champers comped because of the late reservation cancellation - totally didn't have to do that, but we weren't complaining! Backlit bar wall was eye catching too.

Made a reservation for a Monday night to take advantage of their HH specials. $1 oysters and great prices for gin based drinks. The oysters were just ok - we only got a dozen since they were small and tasteless. Would not recommend even if it's cheap. We got a side of fries which was hugeeee and loved the truffle flavor. The flatbread was also yummy with burrata on top. Overall, a vibey HH spot if you can get in and like gin based drinks!

They have good happy hour if you can make it on time. Good oysters and cocktail options. It's also a cute date spot, though it can be loud so a bit hard to hear or talk. Good gin options and intimate atmosphere!

What a wonderful experience we had dining at Valerie for brunch! Our server, Isabella, was so lovely and helpful making recommendations on the menu. The inside of this restaurant is art deco - really pretty! We chose to celebrate Mother's Day early since we would be travelling home on Sunday and didn't want to be rushed through our meal. We followed the recommendations and had an omelet and the short rib on polenta; both were sensational. I was leaning towards the Croque Madame (my usual French breakfast fare) but when it didn't come up on her list, I went with the omelet and was not disappointed. The "hash browns" were triangle patties with whipped potato on the inside and a crispy outside - really a treat (especially for this potato product lover). The short rib was so tender and the sauce really savory. The bar holds 75 different types of gin, so we went for gin drinks, I for the French 75 (a brunch classic!) and my husband had their version of a bloody mary with gin that was infused with olives - he said it was delicious - served with pickled cauliflower that was an unusual choice. The biscuits they give you while you wait were incredibly flaky and they serve them with butter and some kind of jam that was clearly freshly made.
